What is an Unconference?  Wikipedia defines an unconference as “a participant-driven meeting. The term “unconference” has been applied, or self-applied, to a wide range of gatherings that try to avoid one or more aspects of a conventional conference, such as fees, sponsored presentations, and top-down organisation.

Venue: Hope’s Cafe at Clayton Wesley Uniting Church, corner Portrush Rd and The Parade, entry via Goodies Op Shop, off Union St, Norwood.

Conference cost is 7 units for LETS members or $7 for non members and light lunch is pay what you can afford in units or dollars.

Unconference attendees are asked to come prepared with something to share around the topic of “The Sustainability Of LETS“.  It doesn’t have to be serious.  You might want to write a humorous poem.   Suggestions are:

  • a poem, story, song
  • art, photos
  • a facilitated discussion
  • a hands on workshop:– how to make things, something for participants to take home
  • a poster
  •  a talk
